They can lock us into negative behaviors (like snacking and smoking) or train us to respond instinctively in ways that benefit us (such as putting on a seat belt). Leadership is the capacity to influence the thoughts, emotions, and actions of ourselves or others with or without authority through inspiration, motivated by passion, generated by vision, produced by a conviction, ignited by a definite purpose.
